After the success of previous editions, the project—conceived by director and choreographer Alessia Gatta—returns with an exciting new format: four immersive days of research, creation, and performance in the stunning Brancaccino Theater, in the heart of Rome.
A Unique Experience
A space for sharing, where dance becomes a language of exploration and innovation. Participants will have the opportunity to perform in a double-run show as part of this intensive artistic journey.
An Exclusive Program
Designed for dancers eager to connect with the language of international choreographers, refine their artistry, and challenge themselves in an original creation.
Over the years, the workshop has hosted world-renowned artists, including:
Afshin Varjavandi, Alessia Gatta, Eliana Stragapede, Georgios Kotsifakis, Gianni Wers, James Olivo, Jesus Guia, Lorenzo Di Rocco, Jennifer Rosati, Michael Lohr, Miguel Altunaga Verdecia, Noemi Dalla Vecchia, Matteo Vignali, Rudi Cole, Julia Robert, Tea Min Jung, and Tom Davis Dunn.
For this 6th edition, we are honored to welcome Francesco Gammino, who will lead selected dancers in the creation of an exclusive new piece.
A Performance on a Prestigious Stage
The final showcase will be presented as part of the International Festival of Dance and Contemporary Culture – Futuro Roma, with two performances on May 25, 2025, at the Brancaccio Theater in Rome, alongside internationally acclaimed companies and artists.
The Concept of #onemetercube
A symbolic boundary within which to live, coexist, and push beyond one's limits through movement. An artistic journey that culminates in a one-of-a-kind performance.
